Orders

All orders are processed daily Monday to Friday and shipped within 48 hours of receipt of order. All orders made over a weekend will be processed on the following business day.

All orders will be delivered by Australia Post regular mail. For priority orders, contact us here.

Resellers

Re-sellers can use our Order Form to place an order. We will calculate the total cost of your order, including discount. We’ll email you a confirmation before sending your invoice.

Bulk Orders

Discounts for bulk purchases (100+ items) are available with higher discounts based on the quantity.

Invoicing

Invoicing is available to re-sellers, schools, non-profits and government departments, on supply of a valid order. Orders are required to be paid in full before dispatch, unless special arrangements have been made.

Shipping

Shipping times for titles in stock are generally delivered within 5–10 business days, when shipped to an Australian address.

Butternut Books uses Australia Post to deliver its purchased items.

When placing an order for books through our Butternut Books website, please choose carefully. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make an incorrect selection.

As Butternut Books cannot offer sale or return and consignment terms, returns are accepted only in the case of faulty or damaged goods. In the event of faulty or damaged books upon first receiving your items, a refund is payable.

In the event that you receive a faulty or damaged book, we will refund the amount of the damaged item or items.

Please also note that refunds do not include postage and handling and will be processed within seven business days of receipt of the goods.

Butternut Books reserves the right to refuse to accept, and to return, parcels that arrive with COD or other equivalent messages relating to outstanding delivery fees, stamped on them.
